Since May of 2015 we have been involved in a local dog rescue, For Otis Sake. The rescue does not currently have a facility so it relies on families to foster the dogs that they pull from rural high-kill shelters from around the region. It wasn’t long before we became what is known as foster failures, adopting our second foster Cruz and renaming him Gibson. We continued to foster over the years and have since failed two more times adopting our sixth foster Jolene, now Lyric and our twelfth foster Coco, now Jaco. While we are stern about no longer becoming foster failures, we continue to foster for the rescue and have helped seventeen dogs on their journey’s in life.
